Eminent Egyptian Qari to Visit Jani’at al-Zahra Seminary
TERHAN (IQNA) – A prominent Egyptian Quran reciter who is in Iran will visit the Jami’at al-Zahra Islamic Seminary and University in the holy city of Qom.
Mohamed Fahmi Asfour will visit the seminary on Wednesday and meet with the scholars and students of the Tafseer and Quranic sciences.
He is a senior Qari who has served as a professor at Egypt’s al-Azhar Islamic University.
Asfour has also taught Quranic sciences at Beirut Islamic Seminary and headed a Dar-ol-Quran center in the Lebanese capital.
Currently, he is cooperating with Iran’s Supreme Quran Council.
