Int’l Forum on Islamic Revolution Planned in Qom

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international forum on “reviewing scientific and cultural results of the Islamic Revolution” will be held by Al-Mustafa International University in the holy city of Qom.

 

According to Hojat-ol-Islam Mustafa Nobakht, the secretary of the program, the forum aims to identify the domestic and international effects of the revolution, disseminate the scientific and cultural achievements of the revolution, identify and introduce the challenges and threats faced by the revolution and identify the approaches to establish the virtues of the revolution.

He said that Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Islamic World Science Citation Center have issued the license for the forum, which will be held in cooperation with 28 Iranian and Foreign centers, such as the Management Center of Seminary, University of Razavi Sciences, World Assembly of Muslim University Teachers, Qom University and representatives of Al-Mustafa International University abroad.

Papers in six languages namely Persian, Arabic, English, French, Turkish and Urdu have been submitted to the forum and 40 pre-meetings have been held in Iran, Lebanon, Turkey, Afghanistan, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mali and Cameroon with the participation of 70 academic and cultural figures, he added.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mustafa Nobakht went on to say that interviews with 20 international figures from Argentina, Turkey, Lebanon, Ivory Coast, India, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Madagascar, Myanmar, Chad, Bangladesh, Mali, Thailand, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Sri Lanka were a part of the forum, which will be published in the special booklet of the forum.

The international event will be held on April 15 in the holy city of Qom.
