--On the glad occasion of the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (A.S.) marking Mother’s Day, concurrent with the birthday anniversary of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) issued a message of felicitation.
Part of the Message reads: Today humanity is tired of unkindness and unchastity and is more than ever in need of unblemished role models like Fatemeh Zahra (A.S.). Her grand character can be a guide for all people, but women in particular should follow her example to lead the future generations toward peace, faith and justice.

We have learned through experience that her glorious character is shining in the world more and more everyday and we can demonstrate the elevated position women enjoy in Islam by presenting her example to other cultures. Thus, the representatives of the ICRO in different countries will strive on glad day to familiarize people of the world with the character and conduct of the great lady of Islam.
