Unveiling of a Painting Illustrating Prophet’s Ascension

--A great painting depicting Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) Ascension o Heavens was unveiled in a ceremony in the holy city of Mashhad.

This work of art which is 15 meters long and 8.3 meters high has been painted by seven artists from the Astan-e Qods Razavi Art Center. It has three parts illustrating holy Prophet’s Ascension, his uniting with God, and his entering Heaven.

More than 650 hours of work have been spent for completion of this painting.

The painting is open to public everyday at Imam Khomeini Cultural Complex in Mashhad.
