"Hazrat Fatima" Book Reading Contest to Be Held
On the occasion of Hazrat Fatima martyrdom anniversary, a book reading contest will be held in Tehran on June 18 (Khordad 28).
Mehdi Kazemi, head of Fajr public library, said that the contest, sponsored by Cultural and Artistic Office of Tehran Municipality, kicks off on June 28 and will go ahead for a month.
"The questions to be posed in the contest are selected from a book titled 'Behavioral Aspects of Hazrat Fatima' written by Khezri Ansari. The book can be easily found at public libraries, "he announced.
He further said "the contest aims at highlighting the life conduct and manners of the beloved daughter of Holy Prophet, and also familiarizing the youths with her characteristics and sayings and promoting thoughts and opinions of Ahl-al-beit (prophet household) in socity."
"Although her life was very short, Hazrat Zahra was, according to the late Imam Khomeini, one of the true miracles of Muslim History in terms of outstanding characteristics" he emphasized.
