Majid Yaraqbafan, Head of Central Council of the community, told IQNA that for the first time in the Islamic country more than 200 researchers, reciters, memorizers, interpreters and top managers with 10-40 years of experience in Quranic arena, from different parts of the country will exchange views on Quranic issues.
Turning to the New Iranian Year (started March 20, 2008) as the year of Innovation and Prosperity by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added that the Quranic Community of Tehran Province made a decision to hold the symposium in a bid to materialize guidelines of the Supreme Leader in this respect.
He went on to say that drawing up demands of women in Quranic activities, presenting strategies for organizing Quranic activities nationwide, and analyzing Quranic status in the field of dissemination and promotion are among subjects of articles which will be presented in the symposium by Quranic masters.
The central council will address questions of participants on Quranic management in practical and working sections, he added.
Yaraqbafan also noted that Quranic, cultural and art pavilions, competitions as well as joyful and sporting activities have been scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the symposium.
