Imam Hossein's Banner to Be Hoisted in the US
--The banner of Imam Hossein (AS) is to be hoisted in the United States.
Manager of the Culture of Sacred Defense Assistants Institute, Mohammad Khakzad, made the announcement, adding that it is the first time the banner of Imam Hossein (AS) will be hoisted in the US.
Khakzad went on to say that a number of Muslim students who are member of Islamic Associations Union in Canada and the US, called for delivery of the sacred banner to the soil of the American continent.
The inspiring banner will be gifted to Muslims of the continent with the aim of hoisting it simultaneous with martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA) –infallible daughter of the great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)- by lovers of the infallible household of the great Prophet of Islam, Khakzad also said.
He expressed hope that the sacred banner will be delivered to other parts of the large continent including Argentina.
The Culture of Sacred Defense Assistants Institute is a non-governmental organization (NGO) active in disseminating culture of the sacred defense in Iran and Islamic world.
