“Hazrat Fateme (AS), Example of a Muslim Woman” Conference in Albania

-- On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fateme Zahra (AS), a conference entitled “Hazrat Fateme, Example of a Muslim Woman” was held in Shkodra, Albania.
It was held by Sa’di Shirazi institute in collaboration with Ahlul Bayt Mosque in Tirana as well as the Committee for Religions Studies affiliated to the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly.
Addressing the event, Salim Mucha head of the Albanian Muslims Committee said, “In Islam, prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his household (SA) are the best examples of morality and Islamic values. Among them, Hazrat Zahra (SA) possessed a lofty status as an eminent example for Muslim women in the world.”
Iranian ambassador to Albania, Eghbali Zarch also spoke at the conference saying “Since the beginning of his mission, the prophet of Islam (PBUH) introduced a new insight on women in society by showing respect to them and particularly to his daughter Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) through his words and behavior.”
“She is a unique example of a woman as a spouse and a mother and it is the duty of Muslim women,” he said, adding that to strengthen their role in the society and in the family, women ought to follow Hazrat Zahra (SA).
Among the other speakers at the conference were Ms. Iris Machi, who is in charge of the woman section of Albanian Muslim Committee, Reyhane Eghbali an Iranian student in Albania, and a number of religious figures.
Brochures and booklets on the life and character of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) were presented on the sideline of the conference.
