Saudi Shias Hold Mourning Ceremonies

-- Mourning ceremonies will be held this week in Saudi Arabia’s Shia mosques and Hussainiya centers in commemoration of Hazrat Fatemah Zahra (SA), the noble daughter of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
The Rassed News Network reports that the ceremonies will begin today, May 17, on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (AS).
There will be a mourning function tonight at Al-Badia Hussainiya center in Al-Awamia city of Qatif Province, where Shia scholar Abdul Azeem Al-Mishikhis will deliver a speech on the character and life of the holy prophet’s daughter.
The Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) center in Qatif Province will also hold a ceremony tonight from 7:30 pm.
There will be other mourning ceremonies planned to be held in the country on the sad occasion, including one at Imam Al-Khoee Shia center in Al-Ihsa Province.
