Culture Ministry’s Quranic affairs deputy said over 2 million people are expected to visit the 19th edition of the International Holy Quran Exhibition.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi, who is also the director of the 19th exhibition, told IQNA that the exhibit is hoped to clarify the status of the Holy Quran in relation to the present-day Islamic movement in the world.
“It should also clarify the role of the leader of the World Muslims (the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution) in leading the movement as well as the Islamic Revolution’s inspirational role,” he underlined.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi said that “know the Enemy” section would be another part of the exhibition.
Noting that the Quranic movement in the country has been boosted in the last two years, he said the exhibition, which is a show of the Quranic community’s achievements, should serve to give a sense of pride about the country’s Quranic movement.
He went on to say that the exhibition is expected to be visited by over 2 million and perhaps even up to 3 million individuals.
The 19th International Holy Quran Exhibition is to be held at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall) from July 28 to August 26.
