Head of the Principlaists Fraction of the Majlis said the Islamic Revolution of Iran proved that religious governance is practical and invalidated the West’s theories about religion.
Gholam Ali Haddad Adel who was speaking at the closing ceremony of a political gathering in the city of Chenaran, Razavi Khorasan province on Friday, added that the Islamic Revolution is the flag-bearer of religious rule.
This revolution brought concepts such as spirituality, monotheism, and morality to the fore in society and gave rise to the practice of values like justice-seeking, fighting oppression, seeking independence, etc, he said.
Supreme Leader’s advisor referred to the 8-day war in Gaza and said the victory of the Palestinian resistance movement was an indication of these values that have been developed by the Islamic Revolution.
Haddad Adel said the confrontation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and its adversaries can be described as a conflict between religious system and secularist system.
“Now, on the world stage, there are two powers facing one another, the power of money and weapons versus the power of faith and spirituality. Governments are inclined toward the first kind of power while nations prefer the second, which has been developing since the Islamic Revolution achieved victory.”
He also noted that the world arrogance has made every attempt in the past three decades to lead the Islamic Revolution astray and, upon failure, has resorted to more sanctions and economic pressures.
