Last Night of Mourning Ceremonies on Martyrdom Anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA)
The last session of a series of mourning ceremonies marking the anniversary of Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) martyrdom was held at Imam Khomeini Hosseiniya (religious center) on Monday night, April 15.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei.
A number of the country’s officials and different groups of people were also present at the program.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Reza Panahian delivered a speech at the event elaborating on the virtues of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) daughter (SA) and her great character.
After the speech, elegist Mohammad Reza Taheri performed elegies lamenting the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (SA).
The series of mourning ceremonies that had begun on Thursday, April 11, were held for five consecutive days.
