2nd Islamic Conference on World Women's Day in Austria

The 2nd Islamic conference in Vienna, Austria will be held on May 9 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) and the World Women’s Day .
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the program will be organized by Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Vienna in cooperation with Al-Zahra (SA) Islamic Center.
Introducing the character and Seerah of Hazrat Zahra (SA) is the objective of the program, which will be addressed by Prof. Susanne Heine, a university lecturer.
It will be held with the participation of Hojat-ol-Islam Waldmann, education and research director of Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center and Şirvan Ekici, former member of Austria’s Parliament.
The conference will include recitation of the Holy Quran’s verses, screening of clips, speeches and poetry reading sessions.
A charity market and a book exhibition have been planned on the sidelines of the conference.
