The works were unveiled at a ceremony on the sidelines of an international conference featuring the role of Quran in civilizational identity-building.
The ceremony was attended by hundreds of the university’s students and researchers as well as scholars and officials such as Seyyed Mohammad Husseini, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Ayatollah A’rafi, president of the university, Hojat-ol-Islam Hamis Mohammadi, head of this edition of the exhibition, Mahdi Chamran, member of Tehran’s City Council, Mahdavi Mehr, deputy of the university and Laleh Eftekhari, representative of Tehran citizens at the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
“Ma’ad wa Qiamat” (Hereafter and Resurrection) by Allameh Javadi Amoli, “Al-Qara’ah” by Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi and the books written by Mahmoud Heydar, Lebanese researcher, and by the university’s president were some of the new Quranic works unveiled at the program.
The collection include authored or translated works in Persian, Arabic, Malay and Swahili published in Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia and Tanzania.
