Children Section of Imam Reza (AS) Int’l Festival to Kick off
The opening ceremony of the Children and Teenagers Section of Imam Reza (AS) International Festival will be held on September 7 in the holy city of Qom.
According to IQNA’s branch in Qom Province, Mohammad Mokhlesi, director of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Teenagers of the province announced that the center has 10000 members in this province from among them 3000 ones aged 6 to 16.
He said that the center is actively involved in scientific and religious activities in various fields including astronomy, biology, Quranic education, Hadith sciences and Islamic injunctions.
Every branches of the center in different provinces will have a special section for the physically impaired children. The Qom branch has already opened the section the students of which will perform a choral song in the Keramat Ten-Day Festival.
16 various programs will be held for children during the decade by the center’s branches in 15 provinces of the country.
The programs will include Razavi poetry festival, Razavi painting festival, Rasavi singing festival, etc. Qom province has hosted Razavi pilgrimage memories festival to conclude on the occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Ma’soumeh (SA) on September 7.
3200 works have been sent for this section of the festival, from among which 12 memories have been selected as the top ones to be awarded in the closing ceremony.
The opening ceremony of the Children Section of the festival will be held with the participation of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Managing Director of the center.
The closing ceremony of all sections of the festival are scheduled to be organized in the holy city of Mashhad.
