49 publishers from Muslim and Arab countries and 152 publishers from Qom Province will present their latest books at the exhibition.
It will be organized by the Cultural Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, General Office of Islamic Guidance in Qom Province, Qom Publishers Cooperative and the Union of Qom Publishers, Tasnim news agency reported.
More than 13000 titles will be put on display at the exhibition by representatives from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Jordan.
Publishers of Qom province will exhibit about 800 book titles.
The book fair will be launched in a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. with the participation of the ministry’s cultural deputy.
Expert forums on religious publication at an international level are planned to be held as the sideline programs of the event.
It is considered as an opportunity for introduction of the latest achievements in religious publications and a venue for interactions among the Muslim world publishers.
The exhibition will run until January 11 in the province’s Publishers Complex.
