TEHRAN (IQNA) - An educational course on Quranic sciences for seminary students of Qom-based “Infallible Imams (AS)” Specialized Center has been underway since January 19 in the holy city of Karbala.

According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, 12 students of the center have taken the course organized by the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan.

The Quran Education Section of the center supervises the one-week course, which will conclude on January 27.
Heydar al-Ka’bi, one of the instructors, said that the main objective of the educational program is to develop the Quranic skills of the seminarians.
Sheikh Khayruddin, expert in Waqf and Ibtida, stressed the need for holding such courses for Quran activists, particularly Quran reciters, and said the courses have been welcomed by seminary students from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
The participants will be given certificates at the end of the course.
“A’immah At’har (AS)” (Infallible Imams) Specialized Center, with two branches in the holy cities of Qom and Mashhad, works under the supervision of the late Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani’s Office.
Training researchers and preachers to introduce the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and Shia beliefs is the main objective of the center.
