Students from 30 Countries to Compete in Final Round of Al-Mustafa Quran Contest
Hossein Assadi, director general of the university’s Quran and Hadith Department, made the announcement adding that the men’s section is held in the categories of Tahghigh and Tarteel recitation as well as memorization of the Quran.
There will be two categories in the women’s section, namely memorization and Tarteel recitation of the Quran, he stated.
Assadi noted that masters Parhizgar, Haj Abolqassem, Heshmati, Sotudenia, Alami, Shahidi, Saeedian, Qarasheikhlu, Hanifi, Lotfinia and Sarabi will make up the jury panel in the men’s section while Quran masters Ezzatpajouh, Adibzadeh, Izadi and Forughi will judge the competition in women’s section.
The final round of Al-Mustafa International University’s Quran and Hadith Olympiad will be held on Monday and Tuesday, February 2-3, in the holy city of Qom.
