“ Qira’at” Forum to Be Held in Morocco
According to meknespress, the forum will be organized by the Scientific-Educational Research Institute of the city.
“Ibn Qazi Al-Meknasi, his pupils and teachers in Qira’at”, “innovations of Ibn Qazi Al-Meknasi in jurisprudential and historical issues, math, Hadith and linguistics”, and “Quranic Qira’at for Ibn Qazi Al-Meknasi” are among the themes of the forum.
The abstracts and full papers should be emailed to Moltakakiraat3@gmail.com respectively by March 15 and May 20.
Imam Abu Abdullah Ibn Ghazi Al-Meknasi (919 A.H.) was a scholar and jurist of Maleki school of thought in Morooco.
He was born in Meknes and mastered various fields of science including Quran interpretation, Qira’at, Hadith, math, syntax, history, language and jurisprudence.
