Forum Held in Serbia on “Islam, Intellectuality, Spirituality”

Belgrade (IQNA) – A scholarly forum featuring “Islam, Intellectuality, Spirituality” was recently held in Serbia’s Prijepolje city.

 The Qom Religious Sciences Center of Belgrade organized the event in cooperation with the city’s Culture Center, IQNA’s Europe Branch reported.

A number of Serbian scholars and thinkers addressed the forum, which was covered by a local TV station.

The speakers discussed the harmony in Islam’s philosophy, mysticism, wisdom, and revelation.

They also elaborated on the philosophical and mystical meanings of Wilaya based on the Treatise on al-Wilaya by Allameh Tabatabaei.

During the forum, the book “A Brief History of Islamic Philosophy” written by three scholars of the Qom Religious Sciences Center was also unveiled.

It is the first book on the history of Islamic philosophy written in Eastern Europe.
