“Quran Stories” Campaign Underway in Qatar
According to Al-‘Arab newspaper, stories of the Holy Quran are the main theme of this edition of the Quranic program.
Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has organized the campaign, which will continue until May 14.
The Quranic Center of Bint Muhammad Museum affiliated to the Office of Dissemination and Religious Guidance of the ministry hosted the opening ceremony of the program.
Muhammad Al-Mahmoud, director of the office said that one of the main objectives of the ministry is to train a Quranic generation based on the teachings of the Divine Book.
This edition of the campaign focuses on the influential lessons and moral virtues in the stories of the Holy Quran, he added.
The campaign includes exhibitions of photo and visual arts on Quranic themes as well as cultural competitions and Quranic speeches to be delivered in Quran centers all over the country.
Organizers of the campaign have also planned special programs for children and visits to some Quranic centers.
