Quran Teacher Training Course Concludes in Karachi

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The closing ceremony of the second edition of a Quran teacher training course for women was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Karachi, Pakistan.


According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the participants in this edition of the course were honored and granted certificates in the ceremony.



 



Addressing the program, Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Sarvar talked about the importance of learning and teaching the Holy Quran and Quranic sciences and dissemination of the Divine teachings in the Islamic society.



 



Mahdi Khatib, in charge of the Iranian Cultural Center in Karachi, also delivered a speech in the ceremony and stressed the necessity of enhancing the youth's connection to the Quran.



 



He said that such courses aim to develop the Quranic teaching in the society with the help of new methods and technologies.



 



The Iranian official also cited a Nabawi Hadith (Kanz al-A’mal, vol. 2, Hadith 2261) highlighting the importance of Quran memorization.



 



The program concluded with eulogies on birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent).
