According to Qaf Quranic News Agency, the competition will be organized by Iqra Society for Quran Sciences for 9 days.
Al-Sanabis Husseyniyya (public hall for religious ceremonies) in Manama, the capital city, will host the national event.
The preliminary stage of the competition was held with more than 2000 participants of different age groups from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Winners of the preliminary stage will compete in the final stage to be organized for male participants in various age groups.
Some eminent Shia figures of Bahrain including Sheikh Ahmad Amrullah, Sheikh Fadhil Al-Zaki, Sheikh Hassan Albanna, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Safa, Sheikh Ali Rahmah, Sheikh Baqir Al-Hawaj and a number of top Quran reciters of the country will take part in the Quran competition.
A Quranic forum has been planned on the sidelines of the competition which will be attended by Sheikh Abduljalil Al-Makrani, the head of “Hazrat Roqayya (SA)”Quranic Association in the holy city of Qom, Sheikh Radhi Al-Qafas, and Sheikh Abd Ali Dhayf.
An international Quranic session will also be held as another sideline program on September 7.
