It will be held Sunday afternoon at the order of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei at Imam Khomeini (RA) Husseiniyeh (religious center) in Tehran.
There will be another memorial ceremony on the same day at the mausoleum of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) in Qom, some 150 kilometers south of Tehran.
On Thursday, Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization confirmed that 465 Iranian Hajj pilgrims were killed in crush in Mina.
They include five members of the Iranian Quranic delegation to Hajj: Mohsen Hajihassani Kargar, Amin Bavi, Hassan Danesh, Foad Mash’ali and Saeed Saeedizadeh.
The total number of Hajj pilgrims who were killed in the crush in Mina is about 4700, Iranian officials have said.
The incident marked the worst Hajj disaster in years.
