Jury Members of 30th Student Quran Competition Selected

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The jury panel of the 30th edition of the national Quran and Etrat competition for university students will have 17 members.


Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Qasemi head of the scientific committee of the competition said that selection of the jury members is one of the duties of the committee.





Given the importance of the competition, the committee has made its best to select the members from among top and eminent Quran experts of the country, he added.





Qasemi said that the selected experts will supervise the competition of students in male and female groups in preliminary and final stages.





The judges in the male group will include Hojat-ol-Islam Muhammad Haj Abul Qasem, Muhammad Reza Shahidipur, Muhammad Hussein Sa’eedian, Muhammad Abbasi, Gholamreza Shah Miveh, Muhammadreza Sotudehniya, Mahmoud Lotfiniya, Ali Akbar Heshmati, Abulfadhl Allami.





They will respectively supervise the competition in the categories of Quran recitation, Tarteel, Adhan, memorization of the entire Quran, and memorization of 20, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of the Quran.





The competition of the female students will be supervised by Aghayi, Jamali, Falaki, Sahaf, Alwandi Adibzadeh, Mirghiyathi, and Sarihinezhad.





The 30th edition of students Quran and Etrat competition will be held on November 10 to 13.





The University of the Holy Quran's Sciences and Teachings in the holy city of Qom will host the national Quranic event.
