Iranian Quran Master Passes Away
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Prominent Iranian Quran master Abolfazl Allami died on Monday night.
After a Quran teaching session and saying Maghrib and Isha prayers on Monday, Master Allami passed away of a heart attack.
His funeral is scheduled to be held in the holy city of Qom on Wednesday.
Abolfazl Allami was born in Qom in 1958. He entered the Islamic seminary of Qom in 1980 and studied Islamic sciences with eminent scholars like Ayatollah Mahfouzi.
Allami wrote a number of books on Quranic and Islamic issues and taught Quran translation and Quranic concepts for years.
He also cooperated with different organizations and institutions in Quranic fields.
