Addressing the event, Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi, secretary of the Council for Development of Quranic Culture, said creating a discourse for development of the Quranic culture at all levels in the country will be among the top priorities of the Quranic community for this new year (began on March 20).

He also referred to the guidelines set by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in his meeting with the Quranic community in last year’s holy month of Ramadan, stressing that special attention should be paid to those guidelines.

The national Quran memorization plan, which started a few years ago for promotion of Quran memorization in the country, is another issue that needs special attention, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi said, noting that the plan’s comprehensive charter has been finalized and will be implemented this year.
