The top winners in the two categories of the contest, film and photography, were from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Syria.
More than 3000 photos had been submitted to the secretariat of the competition, 60 of which made it to the final round.

Every year a large number of pilgrims converge on the holy city of Karbala on the day of Arbaeen.
In the past few years, the number was estimated to be more than 20 million.
On this day, Shia Muslims all over the world mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions.
