Malaysia to Hold “Tadabbur Al-Quran” Int'l Conference

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international conference titled ‘Tadabbur al-Quran: Innovation and Development’ is planned to be held at Academy of Islamic studies, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur on 15-16 November 2016.


Department of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya has taken the initiative to hold the international conference given the importance of tadabbur (reflection) on the teachings of the Holy Quran.

The conference pursues the approach of holistic tadabbur al-Quran in understanding of the meaning of Allah sentences, in various disciplines and knowledge and in solving the contemporary issues, according to the website of the university.

It also seeks Describing the challenge of Quranic studies through tadabbur al-Quran's method, highlighting the scientific research in Quranic studies through tadabbur al-Quran's method, upgrading the quality of Quranic research through tadabbur al-Quran's method with specification and high quality standard and developing the research network among contemporary Quranic researchers.

The themes of the conference are Quranic Studies through the method of tadabbur al-Quran, Quranic Studies and its role in solving the ummah problems through the tadabbur al-Quran, Quranic Studies and tadabbur al-Quran approach in various disciplines of knowledge, Innovation in the teaching of al-Quran with modern theoretical and practical techniques, Methods in expanding Quranic Scientific researches globally and The role of formal and informal international institutions in the teaching of al-Quran (Reality and Aspirations).

The deadline for abstract submission is July 1, 2016.
