Quranic Studies Conference Concludes in Manchester
Titled "Quranic Studies and Quran Contemplation in Europe”, it began on Friday and concluded on Sunday, July 17.
The European Academy of Quranic Studies organized the event in cooperation with the British Muslim Heritage Center in Manchester and Tibyan Quranic Sciences Institute.
The theme of this edition of the conference was "Justice and Ihsan (benevolence) in the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Holy prophet (PBUH)”.
Papers presented at the scholarly event feature topics including Islam’s guarantee for freedom, justice in Quranic verses on inheritance, meaning of Ihsan and its different types according to the verses of the Quran, and human freedom, justice and Ihsan.
The Quranic studies conference is aimed at introducing the
teachings of the Holy Quran and encouraging contemplation and research on
different themes related to the Holy Book.
