“Ifaf and Hijab” Seminar Held in Sierra Leone

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The “Imam Reza (AS)” Cultural Foundation recently held a seminar on Ifaf and Hijab in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

According to the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization (ICRO), the Iranian Cultural Center in Sierra Leone cooperated in holding the program, which was hosted by Muttaqin Mosque in the capital city.

Addressing the seminar, Hojat-ol-Islam Ramezan Bah, a lecturer of Al-Mustafa Islamic College, stressed the need for observing Hijab by both men and women in society and discussed some of the Islamic teachings in this respect.

A number of students of Islamic sciences in Sierra Leone presented papers on the theme at the seminar.

Also speaking in the program, Muhammad Ma’rifat, Iranian cultural attaché in the West African country, highlighted Imam Khomeini’s (RA) quotes and the Supreme Leader’s views on the importance of Ifaf and Hijab.

He stressed the important role that women can play in creating a healthy and successful society.

The cultural official concluded by saying that Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) is the best role-model for women in all aspects of life, particularly in observing Ifaf and Hijab.
