Qassemi said the event will also provide a ground for introducing the backgrounds and symbols of the Islamic civilization in Iran.
The foreign ministry supports the programs marking the cultural-Islamic event and will make efforts to help organizers hold it optimally.
He went on to say that in the current situation in which there are attempts to portray Islam as a religion of violence and terrorism, such events are good venues for introducing and clarifying Islamic civilization and culture and promoting Islamic moderation in the world.
