Quranic Course for Russian Quran Teachers Starts in Qatar
According to Al-Arab newspaper, "Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayd Al Mahmoud” Islamic-Cultural Center of Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf (endowments) and Islamic Affairs hosts the course.
The organizing committee of "Sheikh Jasim bin Muhammad bin Thani” Quran competition in Qatar is holding the educational program.
14 teachers of the Quran memorization centers affiliated to Russia’s Muftiat Council and the Office for Russian Muslims’ Religious Affairs are participating in the course.
Teaching methods and the principles of Tajweed, Quran memorization and recitation and contemplation in Quran, holding Quranic sessions and clarification of Islamic concepts are some of the themes of the course, which will continue until August 7.
The main objective of the program is to promote the Quranic skills of the teachers and strengthen relations among Quran activists of the two countries.
