Hindi Translation of Islamic Books Unveiled in Mumbai

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Mumbai unveiled a Hindi translation of some of the works by Ayatollah Najmuddin Tabasi.

According to the center, Seyyed Abrar Ali An’amdar has rendered the books into the Hindi language to disseminate Islamic concepts in the society and strengthen unity among Muslims.

The books will be distributed among the scientific and religious centers in India.

Mahdi Zare’ Bi’eyb, in charge of the center, said that translation of such valuable Islamic sources plays an important role in enhancing Muslims unity.

He also said that the center is ready to support the translator in translating other works by the scholar.

Ayatolah Najmuddin Tabasi, the son of the Grand Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Muhammad Reza Tabasi Najafi, was born in 1334 A. H. in the holy city of Najaf.

He is an expert in Islamic jurisprudence, principles of Islam, Quran interpretation, Islamic theology, comparative studies of Hadith and issues related to Mahdaviyat.
