According to Dini Habler website, the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) has fired the Quran teachers.

They are currently under investigation, Diyanet said.

In the aftermath of a failed coup attempt in the country back on July 15, thousands of teachers, education ministry employees, judges, police and army officers have been sacked for alleged links to Gulen, who Ankara says was behind the putsch.

The botched coup began by a faction of the Turkish military during which tanks, helicopters, and soldiers clashed with police and people on the streets of the capital Ankara and Istanbul.

A total of 290 people were killed in the attempted coup d’état. Thousands of people have also been detained ever since.
