TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Quran and Etrat Deputy of Iran’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry revealed plans for production of films and animation movies about the Quran and Etrat (AS).

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati said childhood is the best period for learning and for getting one acquainted with the Quran and Etrat.

That is why there are plans for producing animation movies and other works about the Quran and Etrat, he said, Farsnews reported.

The cleric added that proper means should be used to promote Quranic activities and given children’s interest in animated movies, such films can help to encourage engagement in Quranic and religious fields.

Elsewhere, Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati, who was also the director of the 24th Tehran International Quran Exhibition, hailed the large number of visitors to the expo during the holy month of Ramadan and thanked those who cooperated in holding the event.

The exhibition was held at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall) from June 13 to 30.

It showcased Quranic achievements of the country as well as Quranic works from Iran and other countries.
