According to moscow.icro, the program will be attended by an Iranian delegation headed by Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, the head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and president of the Policy-Making Council of Religions in Moscow.
"Role of Dialogue and Cooperation among Religions in a Just and Stable Peace” is the title of the two-day event.
The Iranian delegation will also attend a meeting with Patriarch Kirill, the bishop of the Orthodox Church, and discuss interfaith issues with members of the Russian church.
The biennial program has been held for 20 years in Iran and Russia with the aim of developing mutual understanding between the followers of the two faiths and boosting their relations and cooperation to solve common human problems.
