Iran-Vatican Interfaith Dialogue Slated for Tuesday
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), "Extremism and Violence in the Name of Religion; Which Approach to Religion” is the theme of this edition.
ICRO Chief Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman as well as a number of Iranian university and seminary scholars, including Seyed Yahya Yasrebi Mohammad Mehdi Mazaheri, Hojat-ol-Islam Morteza Javadi Amoli and Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mehdi Khamoushi will take part at the interfaith dialogue.
The participating Muslim and Christian scholars will present their papers on topics related to the mentioned theme during the two-day event.
The 9th edition of the interfaith dialogue was held in Tehran in 2014. Its theme was "Constructive Dialogue of Muslims and Christians for the Benefit of Society”.
