Ceremony in Adelaide Celebrates Beginning of Imam Zaman (AS) Imamate
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A ceremony was held in Adelaide, Australia on Thursday night to celebrate the start of the imamate of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent).
The Jafariya Islamic Center in the city hosted the event with the participation of followers of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
Addressing the event, Muslim scholar Hojat-ol-Islam Idris Hassan elaborated on the characteristics of the Mahdavi government.
Also speaking was Syed Muhammad Agha Reza, a political figure from Pakistan, who stressed the duties of the Muslim youths to strive for setting the ground for the reappearance of the twelfth Imam (AS).
Elsewhere in the program, poems were recited in praise of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The 8th day of Rabi al-Awwal in the lunar Hijri calendar, which fell on Thursday this year, marks the anniversary of the start of Imam Zaman (AS) imamate.
