Jordan Schools Aim to Train 1000 Quran Memorizers

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A number of schools in Jordan have launched a plan to train 1000 memorizers of the entire Quran.

 

The plan is being implemented by al-Hisad al-Tarbawi Schools for both boy and girl students, arabi21.com website reported.

Salwi Ayesh, who monitors the plan’s implementation, says it has been received very well and its results have so far been more than previous expectations.

The Quran teacher says those taking part in the program learn the Quran by heart during school hours, stressing that it does not affect the students’ progress in school lessons.

According to Ayesh, 40 students managed to memorize the entire Holy Book by participating in the program last year.

A large number of boys and girls study at Al-Hisad al-Tarbawi Schools in different cities of Jordan. They are run by Akram al-Qader.
