Quran Competition on Islamic Revolution Anniversary Held in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran memorization and recitation competition was organized in Qatar on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory.


According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Iranian Cultural Center in the Persian Gulf Arab country organized the Quranic contest in cooperation with the director of the Iranian schools in Qatar.

Iranian teenagers residing in Qatar and studying at the secondary and high school levels participated in the competition.

The main objective of the event was to disseminate the Quranic culture among the Iranian teenagers.

Top participants were awarded in a ceremony held with the participation of Sobhani, Iran's ambassador to Qatar, Khaleqi Rad, Iran's cultural attaché and Khalaj, the director of Iranian schools in Qatar.

The 38th anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has been celebrated in 60 countries with Iranian cultural centers holding special programs on the occasion.
