According to al-Masa website, the move began almost four years ago by an Islamic charity institute named Qudama al-Kashafa.

This year, 5000 copies of the Holy Book are expected to be collected and handed out in hospitals in the city and elsewhere.

The institute plans to launch similar campaigns in other parts of the country as well.

Algeria, located in North Africa on the Mediterranean coast, is the tenth-largest country in the world.

Muslims make up about ninety-nine percent of the Arab country’s population.
