Following a qualification and selection program held by the Committee for Dispatching Quran Activists, two of the participants who had the best performance were named as Islamic Republic’s representatives in international Quranic events.
According to the committee, Zahra Qorbani will compete for Iran in this year’s international Quran competition of Jordan.
Also, Zeynab Mohammadnejad will represent the country in an international Quran competition for women slated to be held in Tehran in April.
The international Quranic event for women will be organized concurrent with 34th edition of the International Holy Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Last year, Quran memorizers and reciters from over 70 countries took part in the contest.
