According to quran.gov.ae, this round of the competition began on February 22 and will continue until February 28.
The Dubai International Holy Quran Award headquarters in Al-Mamzar is hosting the competition.
Ibrahim Muhammad Bumilha, head of the organizing committee of Dubai International Holy Quran Award and adviser to the ruler of Dubai in cultural and human affairs, said that 66 Quran memorizers are attending the final stage.
The participants in all age groups can compete on memorization of the entire Quran, and memorization of 20, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of Quran.
He added that memorization of 5 Juzes of Quran for the foreigners under the age of 10 who reside in the UAE is another category of the competition.
Emirati children aged below five compete in memorization of 3 Juzes of Quran.
Memorization of the 30th Juz is the category specified for the participants with intellectual impairments.
The final stage of the competition for women was held on February 13-22.
