Int’l Conference on Interdisciplinary Quranic Studies to Conclude Wednesday Night
According to the organizers, the closing ceremony will be held at the Milad Tower here in the Iranian capital city from 7 to 9 pm.
Top papers selected by the scientific committee will be awarded at the ceremony.
The three-day conference was attended by university and seminary scholars from Iran and several other countries, including Sudan, Iraq, Australia, Malaysia and Palestine.
Out of 300 papers submitted to the scientific committee, 117 were accepted, 39 of which were presented in three panels.
The papers presented at the first panel on Monday featured interdisciplinary studies on the Quran and Health.
The other two panels of the event were on methodology of interdisciplinary Quranic research and studies on the Quran’s organizational system.
Abstracts of all the 117 papers accepted by the scientific committee have been published in a volume.
There themes range from role of ethics in interdisciplinary Quranic studies to geodynamics in view of the Quran.
