Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mohammad Naqib, the research deputy of the University of Quranic Sciences and Teachings, said the conference will be held on Monday April 24.
It will be organized concurrent with the 34th International Holy Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.
According to the official, the holy city of Qom, 150 km south of Tehran, will host the conference.
The papers are on ten major themes revolving around the Quran’s views about revolution, he said.
The criteria of revolution according to the Quran, Quranic foundations of revolution, culture of revolution, and orientalists’ Quranic studies and culture of revolution are some of the topics to be discussed at the one-day conference, Hojat-ol-Islam Naqib added.
He went on to note that the International Conference on Quranic Studies has been held simultaneously with Iran’s international Quran contest since 2006.
