TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Quran memorizer Davoud Fallahi Meybodi will answer questions of the panel of judges at Kuwait’s international Quran competition on Sunday afternoon.

Fallahi Meybodi is competing for Iran in the category of memorization of the entire Quran.

The 8th edition of Kuwait’s international Quran competition is underway in Kuwait City until Wednesday.

Every day, six contenders in the category of memorization and six in recitation are asked to showcase their talents and skills.

The Islamic Republic has participated in the contest with one reciter and one memorizer.

Mojtaba Mohammadbeigi is Iran’s representative in the recitation category.

He performed his recitation on Thursday and later said he was happy with his performance.

Nearly 80 countries have attended this year’s edition of the Arab country’s international Quranic event.
