Ceremonies Held in Tanzania to Mourn Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Kazim (AS)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Ceremonies were held in Tanzania on Sunday to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Kazim (AS), the 7th Shia Imam.
The mosque of Ithna Ashari Shia Muslims in Dar es Salaam hosted one of the programs after Maghrib and Isha prayers.
Hundreds of Shia Muslims from different walks of life attended the event in which elegies were recited on the sad occasion and mourners beat their chest as a display of their devotion to the Infallible Imam (AS).
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Nour Reza also delivered a speech on the theme of faith.
There were other similar events in several more cities across the East African country.
