The participants were students of the Islamic Center of England’s education institute.
The ceremony was organized on Sunday ahead of Nimeh Sha’aban (May 12) which marks the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent).
Recitation of verses from the Quran, signing religious songs and recitation of poems were parts of the programs.
The boys and girls were also given gifts by Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Shomali, the head of the center.
In an address, Hojat-ol-Islam Shomali congratulated the teenagers for entering the age of Takleef.
He also urged them to worship God, do good deeds, say prayers, help those in need, and stay away from anything that may bring about regret.
