Int’l Quranic Studies Conference Planned in Qom

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 11th edition of a Quranic studies conference will be organized by the Quranic Sciences and Teachings University in Iran.

The holy city of Qom will host the conference in May 2018.

The main theme of the scholarly event is fighting arrogance in view of the Holy Quran.

Those willing to participate in the conference can submit their papers to the secretariat of the event by November 21, 2017, according to Tasnim.

Last year, more than 420 papers were submitted to the 10th edition of the conference, which was held on such themes as being revolutionary in view of the Quran, and the Quranic bases of the Islamic Revolution.
